ALS Service Project Opportunity
The David McKannan Memorial 5K has asked us again if we would be able to
help with their event. This year's race is May 7th which is just a little over 5 weeks away. This
is the perfect opportunity to complete your ALS service hours if you
were using that organization for your Citizenship in the Community Merit
Badge requirement, or this event can also be used for service hours for
rank advancement. And if you don't need either of those things it's an
opportunity to hang out with some of your friends and get a free t-shirt
and snacks!
We will meet at Grissom High School at 6 am on May 7, and should be done
by 10 am. I will need several adults, and probably at least 20 scouts
for this project.
