From Friday, August 17 to Sunday, August 19, Troop 361 is going to Camp Jackson to work on camping and learning (or re-learning) the basics of canoeing. If you are planning to go to Grimes Canoe Base with the troop in September, this trip will be good preparation for it. We will be working on the canoeing merit badge, as well as rank requirements related to canoeing/kayaking. It is recommended that you get the blue card before the outing if you are planning on working on the canoeing merit badge.
